Ugly Sweater 5K
🎄🏃♂️ The Ugly Sweater 5K is Back! 🏃♀️🎄
Get ready to run, walk, skip, and celebrate the season - Newly sponsored by South Burlington City Center Collaborative (SB3C)!
Wear your favorite, ugliest sweater and warm up on Sunday, December 14th with this Fun jaunt! Day of registration is allowed. All indoor race events will take place at SB City Hall (180 Market Street). The first 100 runners will receive SBRP/Ugly Sweater TBD giveaway.
What’s happening?
🎁 Food Drive + Raffle Donations: Bring in non-perishable food items to be donated to the South Burlington Food Shelf. Each item donated is worth 1 raffle ticket.
👕 Ugly Sweater Competition
🍴 Special Featured Food Vendor
🎨 Arts & Crafts + 🍪 Cookie Decorating
🎬 Holiday Movie Screening

Registration:
Adults (+$5 for non-South Burlington residents):
August - November 15th = $20
November 16th - December 13th = $30
Day of Registration = $35
Youth Pricing (Regardless of registration date):
13-17: $10 (+$5 for non-South Burlington residents)
12 and under: Free but must register
Race proceeds will go to support SBRP community programs to make an impact within our local community while eliminating participation barriers. These programs include:
- Complimentary shuttles to events
- Community dinners and BBQs
- SBRP program scholarship fund

Starting at the main entrance, take a not-so-scary stroll down the dirt roadway and soak in the sights and sounds of Halloween fun.
✨ The first 400 kids will get a complimentary glow necklace!
🍴 Come hungry - one of our fan-favorite food trucks is back again this year.
🧛 Bring your costume, friends, and neighbors, and mark your calendars!

Energy Festival
The Energy Committee, in collaboration with the Recreation and Parks Department and the Climate Action Manager, is sponsoring a fun and informative event for all ages.

Join us for a fun-filled day with food, prizes, and sustainable energy – Solar Bus, live music, 20 exhibitors, EV and eBike demos, workshops, Climate Action Plan, food trucks, raffles and giveaways, kids activities, bounce house, Champ, and Beta’s Mobile Dome!
Touch-A-Truck
At Rick Marcotte Central School. This event includes free face painting, mini golf, music, arts & crafts, yard games, inflatables, and touch-a-truck.
Movie Night
Come enjoy Shrek at Goose Pond. Event includes BBQ for all and blanket giveaway for first 100 in attendance
SB3C Annual Meeting
Our Annual meeting is open to the public. Come see how the SB3C and other downtown organizations help businesses and build community!
Illuminate Vermont 2025
Illuminate Vermont returns to Market Street in South Burlington for a weekend filled with entertainment, local food, and local crafts. This two-day event is free and family friendly!
SB3C welcomes Bliss Bee
South Burlington City Center Collaborative was on-hand to welcome Bliss Bee to the opening of their third location and second in South Burlington. This location at 268 Market Street is one of the first businesses to open in the newly constructed multi-use buildings
